AQA Psychology takes a look at human behaviour on a more personal scale. We investigate the factors that control how someone behaves. The assessment is three papers, each with their own specific subjects.

  • Memory
  • Psychopathology

Paper Two

  • Research Methods
  • Approaches (Including Biopsychology)

Paper Three

  • Forensic Psychology
  • Schizophrenia
  • Cognition and development
  • Issues and Debates

We are also  running weekly workshops, at 1:00 every Tuesday in room 12 for year 13, and Lunchtimes in room 25 for year 12 (Please book year 12 appointments in advance, and bring with you).

Students will learn the fundamentals of sociology and develop skills valued by higher education and employers, including critical analysis, independent thinking and research.

The key areas of study will be: Family and Households, Education, Crime and Deviance; Sociological Theory, Research Methods and Beliefs in Society.
